Step 1: eLearning    
    This is a self-paced learning that takes 5-10 hours. Here you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving. You will learn about the gear we use, pressure underwater, skills, and techniques. *The eLearning must be completed before the first day of class, you can sign up for pool and ocean sessions prior to completing step 1. A $100 fee will be assessed for individuals that do not affiliate with Decent Divers upon registration. Step 2: Class and Pool Sessions
    This is where the fun starts! During the classroom session we will cover gear that will be used, what to expect during this class, meet you instructor and fellow divers. Students will have the opportunity to discuss topics covered in the eLearning as well as take a quick quiz. Pool sessions will be covered in 3 two-three-hour sessions. You will learn gear assembly, breathing underwater, buoyancy, and mask clearing skills. 

Step 3: Open Water
    Last step to a lifelong certification! Open water dives consist of 4 individual dives covered over 2 days. You will perform the same skills as you did in the pool, have some fun exploring and planning your own dives with your buddies. 

*Course Includes: Class & Pool Sessions, Rental Gear, Tanks and Weights
*Not Included: E-Learning ($230 paid directly to PADI), Personal Gear and Open Water Dives 

*REQUIRED GEAR
    All students are required to have mask, fins, snorkel, booties prior to the start of the class. Any students taking open water dives with Descent Divers are required to have gloves and hood. Our shop has the required gear to get you started!

*MEDICAL STATEMENT
    All students are required to fill out and submit a completed medical statement which will be emailed to you when you register for classes. Medical Statement is needed to be turned in on the first day of class. If you answer yes to any questions a signature from a Medical Physician is required.  PADI Medical Form

Refund Policy: 
All classes are non-refundable, 14-day notice is required if you must reschedule, a fee of $100 is assessed for and schedule changes made less that 14 days to the start of the class. Retail products can be returned within 30 days if unused in original packaging.

*Minimum of 5 students for class to run. If class does not run, you can move to next class at no cost.
